Equine Neonatal Intensive Care
We provide first class emergency and routine neonatal care. Our vets are available 24/7 to provide medical and surgical support for, and during, this vulnerable period.
Our diagnostic services include ultrasonography, digital radiography, arterial blood gas analysis, blood glucose analysis, pulse oximetry, urinalysis and IgG evaluation along with around the clock monitoring and treatments. Treatments may involve oxygen therapy, intravenous fluid therapy, parenteral and enteral nutrition and active warming.
Visiting specialists in internal medicine, ophthalmology and anaesthesia, in addition to our resident surgical specialists are available to consult on all cases.
Equine Respiratory Disorders
Respiratory disorders of the upper and lower respiratory tracts are assessed using endoscopy, ultrasonography and digital x-ray. These diseases can often be further defined for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes using techniques such as trans-tracheal washes and broncho-alveolar lavage.
Equine Weight Management
Our team are experienced in the care and management of over and under-weight horses. We can assess the cause of your horse’s weight condition and determine suitable treatment/management options.
Equine Cardiac Health
Our expert team investigate equine heart conditions and diseases using echocardiography and electrocardiography. We work with you to determine cardiac treatment and management plans.
Equine Dermatology
Get expert advice and treatment for a complete range of equine skin and hair conditions. Our equine dermatology services ensure greater comfort through healthier skin and hair.
